Braxston Cave’s impressive career began at Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana, where he was a standout football player and a finalist for Indiana’s “Mr. Football” award. He continued to excel at the University of Notre Dame, becoming a key player for the Fighting Irish. Braxston’s strength and determination led to his signing with several NFL teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, New England Patriots, and Detroit Lions.
Beyond his professional athletic achievements, Braxston’s passion for helping others has remained a constant. His experiences on and off the field have shaped his commitment to positively impacting the community. After his football career, Braxston transitioned into several roles that furthered his dedication toward career and life success, including a member of of board of directors at the University of Notre Dame and his appointment as Senior Vice President at Lippert, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered products and customized solutions.
The Boys & Girls Clubs are core customer partners of Electus and Braxston has a long history of supporting clubs in his communities including St. Joseph County in Indiana. Braxston partnered with the club to offer volunteers a hands-on opportunity to work with local youth. His volunteering supported the expansion of learning by tutoring and activities at the club.
Braxston’s personal journey resonates deeply with Electus’ mission. His understanding of resilience, hard work, and the importance of support systems makes him an invaluable advocate for our cause. He believes in the power of resilience and the transformative potential of raising aspirations. His presence on our board brings a unique perspective that helps us better serve our young learners, and communities and achieve our impact goals.
